Portable Abrasive Blasting Equipment
We rent, sell and service new and used portable abrasive blasting equipment. These systems are commonly used for rust, paint, corrosion, mold, fire charred surfaces, and preparing a surface for cosmetic or additional processes. Portable sandblasters use compressed air to "blast" various types of media and there are various abrasive feed configurations required for certain abrasive media. The amount of compressed air (cfm) available determines how big of a nozzle bore can be used, which determines the expected production rate. Portable sand blasting equipment allows the operator to get into the most complex or detailed surfaces and is the preferred method of blasting large projects. We offer portable sand blasting equipment for industrial or contractor use indoors or outdoors. Our portable sand blasters may include single or multiple outlets allowing more than one operator use of a single machine.
Portable Sand Blaster Configurations
Our portable sandblasters are available in two configurations:
- Open-Blast: blast only
- Blast-and-Recovery:
- Blast and vacuum up residue simultaneously, or separately
- Separate and collect blast residue
- Redirect reusable abrasive to be used again
- All in one unit for maximum versatility and labor savings
Our portable sandblasters are available in either Pressure (high energy) or Suction (moderate energy) models.
Our selection of pressure vessel sizes and types allow you to match the right portable sandblasters to the job to achieve job cost savings through reduced labor, equipment and overhead costs:
- Single Open-Blast Units – up to 6.5 ft3
- Bulk Blasters – up to 800 ft3
- Bicarbonate of Soda Units – up to 3 ft3
- Blast-and-Recovery – up to 20 ft3
