Dust/Mist/Fume Collection

Identifying and collecting harmful dust, mist and fumes in the workplace can be a neverending job, but one that can reap enormous benefits in productivity, reduction in lost time accidents, and worker health and safety. Dust (from sandblasting, dry grinding, polishing, etc.), mist (from metal turning, wet grinding, milling, etc.), and fumes (from welding, grinding, cutting, etc.) are all different and require different modes of collection. Dawson-Macdonald Co. has equipment to handle all three types, in sizes ranging as low as 100 cfm and efficiencies as high as 99.97% @ 0.3 micron. Units are available with all of the latest filter media and types (including self-cleaning cartridge, bag-type, electrostatic, centifugal and cyclone), and in configurations including machine mountable, stand-alone or central collecting units.
