Blastrac Floor Finishing Machines

BLASTRAC is the first name in dust-free floor/deck cleaning machines. In one application, you can clean and profile concrete or steel flooring in preparation for new coatings, remove surface buildup and anti-skid surfaces, all while leaving the floor totally dry and free of chemical residues. Machines are available in sizes that clean from an 8" to a 30" swath, and can travel at speeds up to 100 ft./min. for self-propelled models. The machines operate by propelling steel shot abrasive onto the floor via a high-speed centrifugal wheel, thereby breaking up surface coatings in a controlled manner, and collecting the resultant flooring debris and dust in an integral dust collector, yeilding a clean floor and dust-free environment. Reusable steel shot is automatically recycled back to the machine for maximum material cost efficiency. Applications include manufacturing plant and warehouse floors, parking garages, bridges, highways, ship decks, or any other heavy-duty flooring surface.
